As the cost of essential commodities soared, Shailender didn't merely stand by. He fought alongside his fellow youth congress members when LPG, petrol, and gas prices were at an all-time high. Rallying under the banner of the Congress party and following the call of BV Srinivas, the national youth congress President, Shailender and his comrades took a symbolic stance. They left a running APACHE bike in Hussain Sagar to symbolize the pain and frustration that rising prices were causing the common citizens.

The National Youth Congress President of Shivasena garu took time to recognize Shailender and the Youth Congress committee at the prestigious Gandhi Bhavan, commending their dedication and impactful work. Furthermore, during the "Chalo Rajbhavan" program, where they hosted a flag on the gate, Revanth Reddy, the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, publicly acknowledged Shailender's contributions and dedication to the cause.
Taking a Stand Against Unemployment :
Shailender and his team embarked on a significant initiative to declare Modi's birthday as "UNEMPLOYMENT Day." This bold move highlighted the pressing issue of unemployment in India and underscored their commitment to addressing it. Such actions demonstrate Shailender's dedication to creating awareness about vital issues affecting society.
Leading the Youth Congress Media Cell :
In recognition of his leadership and dedication, ShivaSena Reddy garu appointed Shailender as the Telangana Youth Congress Media Cell Chairman. This role further empowered Shailender to effectively communicate the party's initiatives and advocate for the rights of the youth.
